Cavalier KC Spaniel is one of the breeds which provoke only warm and tender feelings. Having got a silky coat this affectionate companion is extremely patient and social in nature. Hence the Cavalier KC Spaniel’s nickname – love sponge of dogs. The breed was as taken as the model for the “Staffordshires” pottery dogs that existed in England from 1850s till the 1930s. Many celebrities owned Cavalier King Charles Spaniels including President Ronald Reagan, Frank Sinatra, Sylvester Stallone and Katherine McPhee.
